I am never without one of these bottles. I keep one by my bed at night and drink cold water throughout the night. The ice stays ice for about 12-24 hours. I even travel with one by stocking it with ice - yes, ice is allowed through airport security, then I fill it with bottled water and have it at my disposal during the long overseas flights. Works pretty well. Makes water have a cool, fresher taste than keeping it in the plastic bottle. I usually keep a bottle of water on my desk and drink out of, but I notice after a few days it seems to "sour" in the plastic. Nothing crazy, but the smell and the taste seems to alter. I switched to this and even after a day or two the water has a "cool" taste. The bottle also looks pretty stylish and matches the decor of my desk.
